About the Brewery
Pizza Port was founded in 1987 by Gina and Vince Marsaglia who purchased a struggling pizza restaurant in Solana Beach. Five years later they would offer patrons their first craft-brewed beers. The brewpub has been a success and they have opened four more locations in Southern California (Bressi Ranch, Carlsbad, Ocean Beach and San Clemente).
Beer Reviews:
Tobin’s Review 2.5 out of 5
Swami’s IPA has a dark golden color with a slight haze. The head is small and compact. I pick up aromas of citrus hops. The beer starts out soft but then turns very bitter. This is definitely not a beer I would choose or recommend.
