About Kolsch Beer
Kolsch beers are light in color and malt character and they tend to be slightly dry with a crisp finish. This beer style came from Cologne, Germany and for it to be labeled a Kolsch it must have been brewed within 30-miles of the Cologne. Of course a lot of American craft breweries produce Kolsch, but they are all labeled as “American Kolsch”. These light and refreshing ale-lager hybrid beers are the perfect accompaniment to a warm summer day!
Glass to Use:
Kolsch beers are best served in a Pilsner glass.
