About the Brewery
Project Barley was founded in 2018 by Rives Borland, Brent Reger and Lowell Bakke. The trio opened the Project Barley Brewery and Pizzeria in Lomita, California. Their goal was to focus on hand making small batch beer and keeping it local in the tap room. In 2022, Project Barley opened a second location- Project Barley Taps and Grill on the historic Redondo Beach Pier.

Beer Reviews:
Tobin’s Review 3 out of 5
Em Day’s Pale Ale has a nice deep golden hue with a small white head. I pick up sweet hop aromas on the nose with soft sweet hop flavors that are mellowed by the malt. This pale ale has more bite than your average pale ale and is a pretty good beer.
