About the Brewery
Pizza Port was founded in 1987 by Gina and Vince Marsaglia who purchased a struggling pizza restaurant in Solana Beach. Five years later they would offer patrons their first craft-brewed beers. The brewpub has been a success and they have opened four more locations in Southern California (Bressi Ranch, Carlsbad, Ocean Beach and San Clemente).
Beer Reviews:
Tobin’s Review 3 out of 5
Pizza Port’s Ponto SIPA has the same complexion of a Miller Lite, but with a nice head. I smell grains and hops on the nose of the beer. The beer is super soft with a slight bitter hops. It’s a perfectly balanced beer.
