About the Brewery
In 2009, Gregg Berman founded Clown Shoes Brewing in Ipswich, Massachusetts. By 2011, the company began to expand distribution outside of the state and in 2017 they joined the Massachusetts Bay Brewing Company. Their beers are now produced in Boston, MA and Windsor, VT.

Chocolate Sombrero Stout is pitch black, doesn’t have any head and has chocolate grain and malt aromas. The beer is very malty and syrupy with strong chocolate notes. Overall, it’s really not that great.
