About the Brewery
In 2009, Gregg Berman founded Clown Shoes Brewing in Ipswich, Massachusetts. By 2011, the company began to expand distribution outside of the state and in 2017 they joined the Massachusetts Bay Brewing Company. Their beers are now produced in Boston, MA and Windsor, VT.

Royal Standard Wee Heavy Ale has a reddish brown hue with a beige head and malty nut aromas. The beer is smooth with flavors of sweet malt and a hint of cinnamon. It’s a good beer, but not really that complex.
