Velvet Glow Pale Dry is a Helles style lager that is clean, crisp and refreshing. The beer has a bright straw color with aromas and flavors of bread crust and biscuit. There is very low bitterness and it has a mild hop aroma. The ABV for Velvet Glow is 4.75%.

About the Brewery
Russian River Brewing Company was founded by Gary Heck’s Korbel Champagne Cellars in Guerneville, California in 1997. Gary’s first hire was brewmaster Vinnie Cilurzo, who Korbel would transfer the business to in 2003. Vinnie and his wife Natalie are the sole owners of the Russian River Brewing Company. They have a brewpub in Santa Rosa as well as New Windsor, which is the current location of their brewery.

Velvet Glow has a murky gold color with a malty aroma. The beer is dry and has flavors of corn and barley. It’s a good beer, I like it!
