About the Brewery
The Sierra Nevada Brewery was founded in 1979 by Ken Grossman and Paul Camusi in Chico, California. Grossman and Camusi were avid homebrewers and borrowed $50k to start their brewery dream. In 1980 they brewed their first batch of beer on the premises- Pale Ale. Their Pale Ale was followed up a year later with their Celebration IPA. In 1987 they would move into what is the current brewery location and in 2012 they would build a second brewing facility in Mills River, North Carolina. The Mills River location would start to brew beer in 2015, and currently Sierra Nevada brews its beer on the East and West Coast. Today the brewery is owned by Grossman, as Camusi retired and sold his shares to Grossman in 1989.

Beer Reviews:
Tobin’s Review 4 out of 5
Sierra Nevada’s Pale Ale has a bronze hue, a compact head and a light hops aroma. The beer is very clean tasting with perfectly-blended flavors of grain, a slight malt and hops.
