About the Brewery
The Boston Beer Company was founded in Boston, MA in 1984 by Jim Koch. The first beer that the Boston Beer Company would produce was Koch’s Samuel Adams Boston Lager. This beer would pave the way for the brewing company’s growth. Today the Boston Beer Company produces Samuel Adams, Angry Orchard and Twisted Tea.

Sam Adams Holiday Porter has a black licorice hue with a small oatmeal colored head that dissipates quickly. I pick up roasted grains on the nose with flavors of soft chocolate, licorice malt and a hint of bitter hops. The beer is well crafted and definitely a must try!
