About the Brewery
Paulaner was established in 1634 by monks in the Minim friars of the Neudeck ob der Au Monastery in Munich, Germany. In 1806 Franz Xaver Zacherl assumed control of the brewery from the monks after secularization. In 1979, the Schorghuber family took over the majority of the Paulaner Brewrey and the family maintains their majority ownership to this day.

Paulaner’s Oktoberfest Märzen has a light amber hue with a small fast dissipating head. The beer has grain and light malt aromas followed by a smooth malt flavors that end with a slight fresh hops finish. This is a good beer and a must buy around October!
