About the Brewery
Los Angeles Ale Works was founded by Kristofer ‘Kip’ Barnes in 2010. In 2013 LA Ale Works would launch its first beers into the marketplace. The company worked with Ohana Brewing Company as they didn’t have a physical location to brew their beer. In 2015 Kip would team up with Andrew Fowler, and the pair would launch their own brewing facility in 2017 in Hawthorne, California.
Beer Reviews:
Tobin’s Review 3.5 out of 5
Los Angeles Ale Works Scrapplicious has a murky blonde hue with a frothy but compact off-white head. The beer has aromas of citrus and piney hops. It is soft, smooth and light, which was a bit unexpected. Overall it’s a malty dry beer with a very faint bitterness at the end. Overall it’s a good beer, give it up for the brewery cat!
