About the Brewery
In 2007, Jordan Gardenhire and his father Charlie founded the Baja Brewing Company in San Jose del Cabo. The pair moved from Colorado to Mexico, and by 2008 they were producing eight draft beers which were featured in their brewpub as well as distributed to local restaurants. The brewery bottled their first beer in 2010- Baja Blond and saw increased distribution as a result. Their beers are currently distributed in the US, Australia and South Africa.
Tobin’s Review 4 out of 5
Baja Brewing’s La Surfa Baja Lager has a light transparent copper hue with a small head that dissipates quickly. I pick up light grain aromas as well as flavors. The beer is super smooth and really a nice lager!
