About the Goose Island Brewery
In 1988, John Hall founded the Goose Island Brewery in Chicago, Illinois. Seven years later, they were forced to open a larger brewery and bottling plant in order to keep up with demand. In 2011, Anheuser-Busch acquired Goose Island, which has allowed them to expand both domestically and internationally.
The company continues to brew beer in Chicago, with brewpubs located in London, Seoul, Shanghai, Sao Paulo, Toronto, Philadelphia and of course Chicago.
