About the Brewery
Smog City Brewing was founded by Jonathan and Laurie Porter in 2011. The husband and wife team began brewing their beer at the Tustin Brewing Company. This enabled them to be able to personally distribute their beers to restaurants and bars throughout LA County. The following year they purchased their own brewing equipment and opened their brewery taproom in Torrance in 2013.
Smog City has three locations (2 in Torrance and 1 in Long Beach) and has fast become a household name in Southern California.
Beer Reviews:
Tobin’s Review 4 out of 5
Smog City’s Citrus Blonde Ale has a light bronze hue with a small dissipating white head. The aromas are sweet but faint with a light malt. The mouth is malty with a grain finish. Overall, it’s a well-balanced nice drinking beer!
