Description:
Leinenkugel’s Oktoberfest is a traditional Märzen-style beer with toasted malt flavor and subtle, spicy hop notes. This Oktoberfest has an ABV of 5.19%.

About the Brewery
In 1867, Jacob Leinenkugel and John Miller founded the Leinenkugel Brewing Company in Cippewa Falls, Wisconsin. In 1884, John sold his share of the company to Jacob. Jacob would pass away in 1899, but the brewery remained family owned after this death. When Prohibition was passed, the brewery would survive by making ‘near beer’ and bottling soda water to survive. The Leinenkugel would eventually sell the brewery to Miller Brewing in 1988. Even though the family doesn’t own the brewery, they still put in hard work and are continued spokesmen for their brand!

Beer Reviews:
Tobin’s Review 4 out of 5
Leinenkugel’s Oktoberfest has a nice light red brown hue with a small compact wheat head. The beer has a very light malt aroma with caramel malt flavors that linger throughout the drinking experience. This is a taste beer with a perfect body.

Tobin’s Review 3 out of 5
Leinenkugel’s Summer Shandy is a crazy looking beer, as it looks like a murky hefeweizen. The beer has a very citrusy nose, and almost smells like it should be a fruit juice. The flavors are very soft, and loosely tastes like a green Gatorade with a lemon kick at the end.
