Tobin’s Review 3 out of 5
Stone Scorpion Bowl IPA has a copper hue with a compact off-white head. The beer doesn’t have much of an aroma as I really only pick up a light grainy nose. Overall the beer is smooth with a bit of caramel that turns slightly bitter with a hops finish. This is a good beer, given the fact that it is high in alcohol.

Stone Unfiltered IPA has a murky golden hue with no head and a super hoppy nose. The beer is soft at first, and then bursts into a hops party in the mouth. It fluctuates between sweet and bitter and then ends with a dry finish. The beer is well constructed, but not really my style of beer.

Description:
Stone Black is Beautiful Imperial Stout is a limited edition Imperial Stout that opposes racial injustice in the US. Stone joined Weathered Souls Brewing, a black-owned brewery in Texas, as well as other craft breweries across the nation in releasing Black is Beautiful beer. This Stout starts with a base recipe from Weathered Souls and then adds pecans, flaked rye and was partially aged in bourbon barrels. This results in flavors of rich dark chocolate character with a silky mouthfeel from the oats. The oak and bourbon barrel character adds sweetness, caramel flavors and an oak complexity. The ABV for this Stout is 10%.

Glass to Use:
Stouts are best served in a traditional 16-ounce pint glass.

Tobin’s Review 4 out of 5
Stone Black is Beautiful Imperial Stout is a pitch black beer with a small caramel head. The beer has aromas of light toffee with a sweet chocolate flavor. You can taste the high alcohol content in the beer, but it is slowly bittered out and ends with a dark chocolate flavor. This is a good well balanced beer that supports a great cause!

Tobin’s Review 3.5 out of 5
Stone’s Buenaveza Salt and Lime Lager has a very light golden hue with a nice white compact head. The aromas are full salt and lime, but it also resembles a ‘farty’ smell. This is an interesting beer that is dry and crisp with flavors of corn tortillas and lime. It almost tastes like a crispy corn tortilla.
