Beer Reviews:
Tobin’s Review 3 out of 5
Ballast Point Lager has a gold hue with a small frothy head. The beer has light grain aromas with flavors of light grain and malts. This is a smooth easy to drink light beer, but there isn’t anything unique… just a good solid lager.

Beer Reviews:
Tobin’s Review 4 out of 5
Ballast Point Fathom IPA has a caramel hue, thick head and a grainy aroma. For an IPA I don’t pick up any hops on the nose. The beer is almost like a pale ale without an overhopped taste. It’s not your traditional type of IPA, but I really enjoy this one because you don’t get a mouth full of hops.

Sour beers are best served in a tulip glass. Tulip glasses enhance the volatiles while retaining proper head retention, and captures the aroma of more complex beers.

Beer Reviews:
Tobin’s Review 3 out of 5
Ballast Point’s Citrus Cove Gose has a super light golden hue with a small subtle head that resembles a Miller Lite. The beer has aromas and flavors of citrus; it kind of tastes like a Bud Lime. It’s not a bad beer, as it is a little more complex than other citrusy beers as it has a light malt hops element to it.
