About the Brewery
In 1996, Phillip and Diane Conner started brewing beer in the basement of an antique shop in Blanco, Texas. This was the start of the Real Ale Brewing Company. Two years later they would sell the beer business to Brad Farbstein who was an avid homebrewer and would help the Conners brew and bottle. In 2007 they relocated to a larger facility outside the city limits of Blanco, which would help them to scale production. In 2017 they launched Real Spirits Distilling Company, which produces gin and whiskey.

Beer Reviews:
Tobin’s Review 3 out of 5
Firemans Blonde has a nice hint of citrus hops on the nose. The flavors of the beer are grainy with a little tinge of citrus. Overall a pretty solid beer.
