About the Brewery
In 1933, the Tito family purchased the Latrobe Brewing Company in Pennsylvania. It would become one of the largest breweries in the US and was the maker of Rolling Rock beer. The company was family owned until 1987, when Labatt Brewing Company purchased the brewery. The brewery is now owned by City Brewing Company, and Rolling Rock is produced by Anheuser-Busch InBev in New Jersey, although they keep Latrobe, PA on the label.

Rolling Rock has a pale hay hue with a light head. The aroma is grainy with a bit of yeast and grainy malt taste. It’s a smooth and drinkable beer, with a hint of malt. Unfortunately the beer used to be better, but Anheuser Busch changed the way that they made the beer. Rolling Rock used to be produced in glass-lined tanks. Now only their cans use the glass-lined tanks…… so pro-tip…. BUY THE CANS OVER THE BOTTLES!!
