Description:
Enegren Valkyrie German style Amber is an Altbier. Enegren’s version of this beer is a little stronger, maltier and darker than its German counterparts. The beer is brewed with dark Munich and Pilsner malts which gives the beer a smooth toasty and caramel taste with hints of chocolate and sweetness that is well balanced by the German Nobel hops. The ABV for Enegren Valkyrie Amber is 6.2%.

Glass to Use:
Amber beers are best served in a 16oz. pint glass.

About the Brewery
Enegren Brewing Company was founded in 2010 by Chris Enegren, Matt Enegren and Joe Nascenzi in Moorpark, CA. The brewery focuses on German-inspired beers with a heavy emphasis on lagering. The trio are currently producing 6-year round beers that can be found in the taproom as well as through specialty shops in Southern California.

Enegren Valkyrie Amber has a dark nut brown hue with a light oatmeal head. The beer has sweet malt aromas, which almost smells like cocoa powder. The beer is soft with malty flavors that turn a bit bitter, and then back to sweet. Overall the beer ends dry.
